Adeleke Pledges Support for Tinubu
Addressing the gathering, Adeleke urged supporters to work towards returning Tinubu to office.
“We will sing and dance back to Aso Rock after President Bola Tinubu’s re-election,” he said.
He also called for prayers for the President and support for the administration’s work before joining the dancing and singing at the ceremony.
Osun Governor Named Campaign Coordinator
Adeleke was named Osun State coordinator in the APC’s revised presidential campaign council, despite belonging to the Accord Party.
The revised structure also included Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo as coordinator for Anambra and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT.
Wike has previously explained that his support for Tinubu does not automatically extend to every APC candidate.
The inauguration comes alongside wider grassroots mobilisation for the President’s re-election.
