Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna (IJN) Extends Relief to Displaced Victims of Herder Crisis

Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna Ijn (IJN), Member Representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency, has distributed another batch of food items to victims displaced by the herder crisis across affected communities.

The beneficiaries, drawn from Ochipu, Ebeje Erabo, Ogane-Nigu, Oja-Apata and other communities, who are currently taking refuge in Dekina Town, Aloko, Odu Okpakili, and Etutekpe. This second phase of intervention is aimed at alleviating their hardship and providing immediate relief as they remain away from their homes.

Speaking through his representative, Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna Ijn reaffirmed his commitment to standing with the displaced persons during this difficult period. He further pledged to work closely with local and state authorities to find lasting solutions to the crisis, restore peace, and enable affected families to safely return to their communities.

The relief materials, delivered through his Senior Legislative Aide (SLA), Hon. Achile Salihu were handed over to the traditional rulers, community leaders, as well as representatives of youths and women, ensuring proper distribution among the victims.

This gesture underscores Hon. IJN continued dedication to the welfare of his constituents and his resolve to promote peace and stability in the region.
