The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has published the names and photographs of 24 Nigerian nationals arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), listing offences ranging from fraud and money laundering to drug-related crimes and assault.
The individuals were apprehended in different parts of the United States, according to information released by the department as part of its immigration enforcement campaign.
DHS said the publication highlighted non-US citizens with criminal records arrested by immigration officers under President Donald Trump’s administration.
DHS Links Publication to Immigration Enforcement
The department described the arrests as part of its broader deportation operations, saying DHS and ICE personnel were implementing the administration’s immigration priorities.
The offences listed include wire fraud, mail fraud, impersonation, identity theft, forgery, weapons offences and cruelty towards a child.
The announcement did not provide individual court histories or detailed information about the immigration proceedings involving each person.

List Does Not Confirm Completed Deportations
Although DHS linked the publication to its deportation campaign, it did not specify whether removal proceedings had been completed for each of the 24 Nigerians.
The information identifies arrests and associated offences, rather than confirming that everyone named has already been deported.
ICE remains responsible for the arrests and immigration enforcement actions described in the announcement.
